Vegan Essentials

January 14, 2010 by Keri

I’m not talking about a pantry list, but about my favorite online vegan store!  Living in an area where the idea of healthy alternative food options means throwing some extra lettuce on a cheeseburger, I had to find an online retailer to meet my needs.  I absolutely love trips to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s, but for for those weeks when I just can’t spare the drive time, or just don’t want to, VeganEssentials.com has become a life saver!  They also sell vegan household items, footwear, cosmetics, and other awesome vegan goodies, but thus far I’ve only partook in the edible offerings.

The January newsletter arrived in my inbox today, complete with discount codes, which reminded me to encourage you to sign up for their monthly newsletter as well.  We can probably all agree that vegan treats tend to get a little bit more expensive than just running to the gas station for a bag of chips, so the monthly offering of discount codes has definitely kept me coming back.

But the deals aren’t even the best thing about Vegan Essentials.  The customer service is fabulous, the shipping is lightening fast, and they are available on Twitter for questions and comments (I’m a huge sucker for a Twitter-friendly brand).   Okay, enough gushing; you’d think I was talking about my first born child here.  Sign up for the monthly newsletter at VeganEssentials.com.  In the mean time, if you want to go check them out right now, I don’t think they’d mind me sharing this months codes with you just to tide you over while you go sign up.

January10a – This code will take 5% off of your product total (excluding shipping) on all orders of any value, including on sale products!

January10b – This code will take 10% off of your product total (cost before shipping is added, discount does not apply to ship costs) on all orders totaling $60 or more!

January10c – This code will take 15% off of your product total (cost before shipping is added, discount does not apply to ship costs) on all orders totaling $175 or more!

Keri, check out the website for Moo Moo’s at http://www.moomoosbistro.com. She (Michelle) sold her products to us when she first started out. They are great products & some are vegan. The recipes are great too!
