Vegan (Brown) Rice Crispy Treats

This is a super quick and simple vegan dessert or snack to make that pleases most anyone.  Since it has only a few ingredients, these treats are great to take to a potluck or picnic when you don’t have a lot of time or money to create a dish.  Also, since Ricemellow Marshmallow Creme uses brown rice syrup, it is much easier on the kids (and you) because brown rice syrup raises the blood sugar much slower than traditional white sugar, avoiding that moody tantrum from the sugar crash.

Vegan Dessert Recipes

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups brown rice crisps
  • 1 10 oz. container Ricemellow Marshmallow Creme
  • 1 tablespoon vegan butter, melted (optional)

In a large bowl, stir together Ricemellow and brown rice crisps.  Also, stir in melted butter, if desired. Scoop rice crispy mixture into an 8 x 8 in. dish and press evenly into pan.  Allow to set.  Enjoy!
