Strawberry Vegan Ice Cream Forever
Okay, you’re probably thinking, “Keri, you’re blogging about a bowl of vegan ice cream. You really have too much free time.” Easily amused, my friends, let’s go with easily amused. And it was a really good bowl of ice cream! I’m mostly excited because I was so mad at my stupid blender for being a piece of junk, so as I mentioned, I got a Ninja Master Prep. I’m really, really loving it (although after my last blender a rock and a good stick might have looked like good smoothie making material). Last night, I was in the mood for some vegan strawberry ice cream. The problem was all that was in the freezer was a tub of So Delicious vanilla, which is good, but not strawberry. So I decided to throw the vanilla into my Ninja with a handful of strawberries (I know I’m not turning water to wine here or anything, but bear with me, I’m excited.) I added a tiny bit of almond milk and blended until smooth. After topping it off with a little organic vegan chocolate syrup, I dug in. Oh my goodness was it good! It was like a big bowl of strawberry soft serve heaven! I’m definitely glad I got the Ninja so that now I can take care of things like ice cream flavor alteration emergencies. I can’t wait to see what else I can do with this thing!
