Artisana Organic Coconut Butter On Vegan Whole Wheat Biscuits
I really wanted to title this post “Chocolate-Covered Artisana Coconut Butter”, in honor of Chocolate-Covered Katie, one of my favorite vegan bloggers (and the reason I purchased this jar), but I thought everyone might be really mad at me when the post didn’t actually contain any chocolate. Every time Katie posts pictures of one of her recipes smothered in raw coconut butter, I want to run out and find some for myself right that second! Last weekend, I was browsing the isles at Whole Foods and sure enough, in it’s coconuty glory, there was a jar of Artisana Organic Raw Coconut Butter, so I grabbed it up and brought it home to enjoy!
Tonight, I whipped up a fresh batch of Whole Wheat Breakfast Biscuits. While they were still nice and warm, I spread on the raw coconut butter. Oh my goodness, this coconut butter is absolutely delicious! Its rich and coconuty flavor is perfect for a treat anytime of day and since there is nothing in the jar but pure, raw coconut, you can feel good about having healthy snack with no added sugars or preservatives. I can’t wait to discover all of the other fabulous ways to use Artisana Organic Coconut Butter!
