Amy’s Organic Vegan Teriyaki Burritos

February 9, 2010 by Keri

Friday night we got to grocery shopping later than usual, so I stopped by the freezer section on the way out of the grocery store to look for something quick that we could all eat once we got home.  I hadn’t ever tried anything frozen from Amy’s Organic, but the teriyaki frozen burritos were vegan with no GMOs.   Since they were quick and affordable with minimal packaging, I grabbed us each one.

Done within 3 minutes, the burritos were actually super tasty!  The tofu had a really nice texture and there was enough food to be filling along with a nice side of steamed veggies.  These would be great for keeping in the freezer at home or work in case of a forgotten lunch or a snacking emergency.  Amy’s Organic also offers other flavors of vegan burritos, but be sure to check the label as they also have non-vegan (vegetarian) varieties.

I love these burritos! I haven’t tried this variety yet, but I have tried a couple other kinds. I think black bean and beans and rice? I can’t remember exactly what they were. I like how right by the ingredients it says VEGAN so you know you’re good with a quick glance instead of having to wade through every single ingredient. I always keep a few on hand for emergency lunches or dinners.

PS. Great blog. I love the design!

I agree- super handy for meals in a hurry. I can’t wait to try the other flavors.

    Thanks so much!
