A Vegan Easter Surprise
Hello, my friends! Thank you so much for all your well wishes. I’ve been feeling a lot better, still not perfect, but I’m seeing the surgeon every three days so he can keep an eye on my sockets. Phew, I’m sure glad I don’t have to do all that ever again! While I was still in a lot of pain, I received a little package in the mail from my dad. Guess what was inside!
Vegan vanilla “cream” eggs and vegan peeps! How awesome is that?! I have a pretty great dad, huh?! I have such a thing for Easter candy. Most people pack on a couple of pounds around winter holidays, but not me. For me, it was always Easter-candy-time. Now my veganism saves me those extra pounds because vegan “Cadbury eggs” aren’t a Walmart away, but I’m thrilled to be able to order a few vegan treats from the vegan Easter bunny.
My dad ordered these mini “cream eggs” from Pangea Vegan Store. Unfortunately, as I look for the link, I see they are sold out, but they do have other vegan Easter candy still available. If you do come across these mini vegan eggs filled with creamy vanilla goodness, I highly recommend them. They’re definitely still sticky sweet without being quite as overwhelming as I remember those non-vegan chocolate eggs being.

I haven’t done an Easter basket in a long time but would like to. It is a little late to order candies online but I am going to see what I can find at my health food store. Those little eggs like really good. It is fun when parents surprise you with packages. I’m glad to hear you are doing better.

My parents still give me an Easter basket every year, even though I’m 26 & don’t live at home.
It usually contains some dark chocolate & a couple of gift cards. I love it!

Same here. I plan on getting Easter baskets and Christmas stockings until I’m at least 60…
ooooo…these look amazing and what a cool dad!!!! My dad cant even sign into a computer let alone try to order something!!! LOL
