A Second Vegan Thanksgiving

November 29, 2010 by Keri

Okay, I haven’t actually posted about the first yet, but here comes the second.  Thursday I prepared a nice little vegan Thanksgiving at our home.  Saturday, however, my we visited my mom’s for a family-style Thanksgiving feast.  I was so excited to visit, I haven’t seen my family in a couple of months, and I was even more excited when I saw the Tofurkey box.  Mom got us a Tofurkey!  And when she said, “Everything’s vegan but the turkey,” we were so excited!  It turns out my mom and her boyfriend visited and joined their local co-op to find vegan ingredients for the meal.  How amazing is that?!

She also made a pumpkin pie, but I forgot a photo.  Oh, and vegan spinach and artichoke dip!  I can’t believe I missed taking a photo of that!  If you want me to ask her for any of the recipes, let me know!
Also, I apologize in advance if I get behind on replying to comments or messages.  I get really into the holidays and can just wander off to work on Christmas projects at any given moment…
If you celebrated, how was your Thanksgiving?
